…And Here I Thought Delhi Is In India….!!!

This is really embarrassing for me to put it across, but all thanks to some creatively genius bamboozles, a magnificent advertisement was circulated in almost all the leading newspapers across the country that promptly announced ; Kolkata is an island in the Bay Of Bengal, Varanasi is in Orissa, Gwalior is in Maharashtra and the BUMMER of all… DELHI is in PAKISTAN.

All this started off when the Ad Agency were informed to prepare an Advertisement by the Eastern Railway for the inauguration of a luxury train ‘Maharaja Express’ which is bound to travel the vast expanse from Kolkata to Delhi. And they proceeded to do a brilliant job of coining out an awesome map of India in the most retarded manner possible. Humble apologies for being such a critic but this is a bit too surreal for anyone to digest!
The Ad Agency creating such a glitch is acceptable to SOME extent, but what about the Railway Authorities who were supposed to finalize it for circulations? Indian System couldn’t get any sloppier than this!
I just hope that these guys don’t muddle up so royally anytime soon!

...And Here I Thought That A Moshpit Was Brutally Gorish...!

Bangkok,Thailand --

POP QUIZ:  What do you do when you are shitassed pissed at the governing body of your so-called beloved country and you PATRIOTISM swells up and overflows through your veins?
Nothing much actually, you listen to some Cattle Decapitation, Napalm Death and the likes; slash yourself in different places; collect the blood tidily in big jars and dispense it at the Prime Minister’s gate.

Jokes apart, Thai freaks are at some insanity again as they conceptualize some Innovative ways and means to oppress the government in its pathway. People threw gallons of blood at the gate of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva’s house in a symbolic protest against the Government’s rejections for contesting elections.

Unfortunately this proved to be worthless as the PM wasn’t keen on budging away from his decision. But the worst part of it all is the fact that the Thai Tourism Industry is facing the brunt as Bangkok had to shut down most of its areas for security concerns. So there was no ‘wanna do khachak-khachak?’ or ‘me open beer bottle from down-down!

I just hope things get back to the way they were in ‘Titillating Thailand’ (no pun intended)…till then I’ll get back to blaring some raining blooood and sympathizing with them.

FULL METCHUL SUPPORT to these guys… \m/ !

Implored For An Empty Silence

Implored For An Empty Silence

One more lie
For the Decrepit to subsist,
Ensuing in a mortification,
For the grief to persist.

Premeditated in a howling echo,
Agonizing the frail.
In an everlasting torment,
Averting a new wave of assail.

Pursuing the imperiled souls,
Reducing them to ashes.
And cleansing the act of damnation,
With bludgeoned lashes.

Betraying a gale of retribution,
Crusading across the fiery sky.
Swaying through the vast emptiness,
And glorifying the victorious war-cry.

…And Here I Was Auctioning My T.V. :/

I just read around that some random females went around selling off their virginity online on a bidding sites…which is like…totally weird…I mean…COME ON!!!There’s another word for it…oh wait…let me recollect…PROSTITUTION…I mean no offence to the ones who did this, but it’s just too hard for me to digest! You guys could’ve just got hold of a Deskjob, maybe worked for a few months and then paid off the loan! Either you all are a bunch of lazy couch-potatoes or maybe you are in such an abrupt need of money that THIS was the only way!

Although kudos to the ones to do this, I mean rather than getting pissed-drunk at some party and then sleeping around with a guy and loosing your *ahem* cherry, this seemed to be a much more effective and profitable option! J

Fortunately or rather unfortunately, most of the leading auction sites have refused to host such auctions on their sites. I’m just confused about how to proceed with the verdict and conclude this whole ‘selling your virginity’ thingy, to some extent it seems morally Right…or rather Correct but on the other hand it seems just too weird and bizarre to accept it! I’ll rest my case by quoting the famous words of Camille Paglia, “The prostitute is not, as feminists claim, the victim of men but rather their conqueror, an outlaw who controls the sexual channel between nature and culture.

(the picture depicts Alina Percea,an 18-year-old Romanian girl who sold her virginity in order to pay for her education.)

I DON’T WANT IT THAT WAY!

Embarrassment has its own level of empathy. Unfortunately, we Indians will have to face the wrath of this sheer phenomenon at an international level when our very own beloved brutal-pop band ‘BACKSTREET BOYS’ [along with Richard Marx (who?)] brace the Indian shores to headline the annual ROCK IN INDIA.

I expected some insanely plutonic band to come for this year’s gig and wreck havoc, which won’t be the case anymore. L

Either it’s the organizers’ sheer stupidity that have lead them to take such a retarded decision or it boils down to money at the end of the day… :/

I think I’ll blame it on the latter for the idiocracy, but heck with it, there’s Eluveitie that’s coming up on the 7th of February for the Alcheringa Xtreme Festival in Guwahati.

My only wish or rather demand is to change the name of the fest from ‘ROCK IN INDIA’ to ‘FROCK IN INDIA’, it aptly suits the whole scenario in a very serene way :D

Book Review-PARANOIA by Joseph Finder.

Paranoia, a gripping thriller foretells us about a techno-espionage which revolves around the central character of Adam Cassidy, a ‘somebody someone’ in a big shot hi-tech corporation of Wyatt Telecom who was ignored as another cubicle worker until he thought of playing a prank by throwing a party for another ‘somebody someone’ and suddenly he was in the lime-light for all the wrong reasons! When he is thrown with a very uncompromising position of 2 choices: - Do jail-time for 55 years or go enter the rival corp. ‘Trion Systems’ as a mole. Through apparent luck, executive training and circumstance (and with info fed to him by his Wyatt handlers), Adam quickly becomes the special assistant to Trion's CEO. Fortunately or rather unfortunately he goes with the latter and then the actual story-line kicks in!

Adam Cassidy goes through leaps and bounds of sheer amusing and creative means to gain the job done rightfully where he battles against his own guilt and his own struggling conscience lecturing him about his utter stupidity. His mission is plain and simple yet full of obstacles. All he needs to do is get some insiders information about a new hi-tech chip that is bound to make ‘Trion’ a multi-billionaire company within days.

Going around the story from Adam’s viewpoint gives us a snapshot of the modern business environment. The book is effortlessly written and all the characters are very well drawn and are consistent. The book is always at a hypnotizing pace barely letting the grip loose of the reader and making the mind wander endlessly. The book is written in a very captivating manner which engulfs the reader throughout and a wonderful balance is maintained giving a tide of suspense and solution to the reader. He even finds secure refuge in his new boss and love flourishes towards a fellow colleague which is explained in a rather amusing and loving manner.

A Heavy dosage of Water-cooler jokes have been dumped into the book which are a pleasure to read. The amount of technology inculcated in the story amuses the reader and makes one wonder why he didn’t think of it at all. Paranoia portrays the cynical business practices and ethics in a rather quirky tone.

Although being a magnificent piece of writing, the book ends abruptly. My only complaint - a minor one - is that the last chapter, and indeed the very last line, is so lacking in closure for the Cassidy character that I looked to see if my copy was short a couple pages. Such gesture only works if it has a sequel but I guess not.

Paranoia is a pleasure to read in its own sense and a book which you might remember for a long time. You have a definite sense of being intelligent enough to guess the next event while a very different picture confronts you with gripping surprise. ‘Paranoia’ maintains its surprise element till the last word.

NEMESIS '09 REVIEW

VENUE: Father Agnel's coll,Vashi.
TIME:7 pm onwards.
LINE-UP:Chronic Phobia,Zygnema,Bhayanak Maut,Exhumation

The gig started off at 7 and the opening act of the evening was Chronic Phobia. They have improved ALOT since past few months...they were tight in SPACE JAM but tighter in NEMESIS
tongue .Although the bass was practically inaudible, but they gave an amazing performance overall...!cant wait to catch them live again!

Zygnema took the stage next and they blew the whole place apart! Though they had to take a break every now and then since there was a mosque next to the stage.
Mayank(Zygnema's drummer) seemed a bit off-beat here and Jimmy's vocals were low as well there but that's negotiable. The song list included the usual crowd-pleasers:scarface,59,and discriminate. To add to the mayhem, they even played 2 new singles:the theory of lies and negation,(cant recollect the name of the other single
tongue )Jimmy even got down from the stage and sang near the barricade much to the joy of the moshers!
The highlight of the day has to be "Slaughtered" in which Jimmy was joined by Vinay and Sunnieth on vocals which threw the crowd in an erratic frenzy! (half-naked) bodies were flying around and smashing into each other.the crowd couldnt have reacted in a better way!
Bhayanak Maut were up next and it was sheer brutality from the word GO!
they started off by playing "light lotus lilly" which has the lyrics from BOILED.UNWOUND.FILATURED" (just a trivia,if you guys didnt know about it)
the track list included ungentle, blasted beyond belief, ranti nasha,MNS messenger, you're perfect now change. Jai Row Kavi was on the drums and he did a fantastic hell of a job of thrashing the living hell out of the kit! Bhayanak Maut were tight as hell but Sunneith's vocals were really low once in a while. The energy these guys exulted was truly appreciable and the crowd loved every bit of it.
The line-up also included the 3-piece band,Exhumation but they couldnt make it due to some inexplicable personal reasons which left most of the crowd disheartened.

BOTTOMLINE:The gig was really great but the sound couldve been better since the vocals were going drastically low all of a sudden and the bass used to abruptly deminish.Hope these band leave the crowd blasted beyond belief everytime they take the stage!! \m/

Destruction of Tyranny

The godforsaken celestial lays lifeless on a throne of death

Hath thee trodden thy unlawful oath

The guilt gushing through the veins

Damning rage of monolithic vengeance

With a sword of mayhem

Summoning the messengers of Doom

To feed over thy unholy wound

While the whispers of thy banished ones

Still hums in his ears

The obliterated cleansing of blasphemy

Has begun its unholy journey

To purify thee in the flames of infernal wrath

Thy lay in a puddle of thee’s holy blood

Broken, banished, crumbled and destroyed

For thee had given no fear of retribution

And vision of divine immortality

But the shadow of darkness

Vanquishes in a sadistic pool of lies…

RANDOM STOOPID CREEPY THOUGHTS

i dunno, but these days whenever i travel alone(almost always)i keep getting these wierd thoughts in my mind and i see to it that i jot them down...
so right now im in the bus,and here's some randomisation from my side...

Life is sometimes filled with trebadours of subconscious innerdimensional being...It has joyous meanings, soundless and yet too loud for ears, free of music and yet full of harmony...
Some angels say to hear this song truly, one must leave heaven...never to return, but,to return home one must sing this song without knowing that it is THIS song that whill guide you onto the path of oblivionic illumination.
Pushing this riddle out of my mind,a riddle that I fathom I  will never be able to disascertain without knowing its true meaning. For this the contorted universe will be shred by the fierce claws of its own thunderous and revenous hands.I hath no blue gaza that can render someone motionless,I hath no sword of Mayhem that can create infernal wrath with brute force in the innermost soul of a being.
Celestials,I wonder, whether they are subservients to the creatures of the earth-it is a traversity of creation.Such humiliation of human servitude is chastising in itself...

CRUSHING SOME AND ELATING OTHERS

Crush some and elate others with a sense of purpose.Lest my debate be misconstrued as a vote in its favour,in my favour.Visual harmony can never resonate with my spirit.I have to look away from myself to escape the blackened allure. My song has died a painful death. What had once been undulant cascading song of my existence and wonder is now careened in strident and petulant debate.Heaven itself seems to be transformed by the lack of general consensus among its celestial inhabitants.I feel my heart is on the verge of true upheavel, something that I cannot ignore, something that i cannot resolve.I feel as if the universal fabric of time and space has rendered my dimensional physicality into nothingness.
I sometimes wonder how i live,I have a gutteral instinct that tells me about a ferocious  shower of whiteness will burst in my soul, disintegrating me,distorting me and eventually making me pure.Life seems like a spiralling tornado of silver flames that engulf me now and then into a space of nothingness. There is a feverish choir of wailing voices loosened by a clamour of piteous pleading sobs of my own that keep on humming mercilessly in my heart.
I let out a houl of despair in the language of thunder,a cry to heaven that resonates through the vast stellar reaches of the universe.Yet i am unheared,my wail is answered by no-one but the gust of wind that blows through my empty soul...

the angel of darkness

what hath thou wrougth for thyself,
pain and nothing else for thee,
because she's an angel,
descended from heaven,
but let me warn thee,
not for yee.

thy bringeth bountiful of pain and sorrow,
as if there hath no tomorrow,
looking forward at destiny and faith,
invoking and evading the jaws of death.

looking up at the sky,
expecting a ray of hope,
begging for mercy,
and an opportunity to grope.

is there no masochistic love,
left in thy world,
that thyself can cherish,
and nurture and grow.
or is it better,
to hav the gothic nightmares,
that turn everyone as white as snow.

ive got questions unanswered,
and truths untold.
which lie untouched,
beneath all the lie, blood and gore.
has thy angelic hatred crawled within me,
killing me slowly and achingly...
shoving the nails of darkness,
deep into my veins,
and ending my destiny,
with a smile on thy face.
